FRENCH CHARLEVILLE BAYONETTE RIFLE

Modeled after the French 1763 musket, this famous rifle was used extensively throughout the American Revolution. The French "Charleville" Musket served as the prototype for the first military long arm produced by American arsenals the U.S. Army. Stamped St. Etienne on the lockplate, this impressive piece measures over 72" with bayonet, which comes with musket but does not lock in place.
